December, 2015 – Bryton ® unveiled the Rider 100 and Rider 310 – its next generation GPS cycling computers – introducing a revolutionary design combining intuitive user experience and powerful workout functionality with great price/performance ratio that maintains the core value of the Rider series product line.
The new Riders feature Power on and GO with Auto Start/Stop one-touch Free Ride mode, GPS recording mode for sharing, and more importantly, the Rider 100 captures up to 36 data functions including time, distance, speed, lap, calories, cadence, HR and LTHR, with additional temperature, altitude and power data available in the Rider 310 providing up to 70 functions.
“Technology itself does not revolutionize the cycling computer market; the great and relevant user experience innovations on top of technologies will.” Said Samuel Wang, the CEO of Bryton Inc. “It’s not about the size. It’s not about the fancy technologies. You focus on the sport to enrich your life, and we focus on how to make your life easier without any sacrifices.”
“Imagine you are getting a DSLR-Like camera for the same picture quality and technical support without the complicated settings.” Said Fema, Bryton’s senior engineer of product research and development. “Simple but Powerful – The Rider 100 allows cyclists to track data like time, distance, speed, lap, calories, cadence, HR and LTHR, with additional temperature, altitude and power data available in the Rider 310 for more advance trainings.”
The new Riders help you with your workouts and do not get in the way. With improved font design and data grid placement, cyclists can customize their data information up to 7 data pages, 5 data grids per page fore Rider 100, 8 data grids per page for the Rider 310 and still be able to see real time data very clearly. Cyclists can also take advantage of the Auto Backlight functions to dominate in their workouts after the sun goes down.
The Rider 100/310 also work perfectly with ANT+ sensors including cadence, heart rate and power meter (Rider 310 only). Bryton also improves user experience so the new Riders can detect sensors and display real time data automatically after first time pairing.
The Rider 310 features up to 36 hours (25hrs for the Rider 100) of battery life and IPX7 water-resistant. Additionally, the Rider 310 has a barometer that supports altitude, temperature data and can be paired with ANT+ Power Meter. The Rider 310 also offers 1 second recording mode for interval trainings and better data resolution, and you can customize your workouts on device; the Rider 310 will take your training to the next level.
